small format, square book of whimsical, pottery creatures by artist Robert Maxwell; approximately 50 pages, with approximately 25 b&w photos of Maxwell's artistic pieces, arranged in clever poses (sometimes with props) on one page, and an appropriate, humorous caption on the other page; the first b&w photo is of Maxwell at work on one of his creations in his workshop; "Mr. Maxwell's ceramic work and original design in stoneware includes lamps, pottery, animals, and many other artistic pieces which are acclaimed by well-known art collectors.
